D-WAVE-- The Quantum Computer

TECH:- The 1000-qubit D-Wave 2X quantum computer, is the most advanced quantum computer in the world. It is based on a novel type of superconducting processor which increases the computational power massively. It works on the principle of Quantum physics. Quantum computers are different from binary digital electronic computers based on transistors.

Quantum computing studies theoretical computation systems that make direct use of quantum-mechanics phenomena, to perform operations on data. Unlike triditional computers which uses binary Digits(bits), each of which is always in one of two definite states (0 or 1), for the calculation and processes purposes, Quantum computer uses quantum bits (qubits), which can be in superposition of states. It means it can have the values 0 and 1 at the same time.
This “quantum superposition”, along with the quantum effects of entanglement and quantum tunnelling, enable quantum computers to consider and manipulate all combinations of bits simultaneously, making quantum computation powerful, optimized and fast.

Capabilities and Uses:-
  •     Optimization
  •     Machine Learning
  •     Pattern Recognition and Anomaly Detection
  •     Financial Analysis
  •     Software/Hardware Verification and Validation
