TECH:-Tango (formerly named Project Tango in-testing) is a technology platform developed and authored by Google that uses computer vision to enable mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, to detect their position relative to the world around them without using GPS or other external signals. This allows application developers to create user experiences that include indoor navigation, 3-D mapping, physical space measurement, environmental recognition, augmented reality, and windows into a virtual world.
Tango enables apps to track a device's position and orientation within a detailed 3D environment, and to recognize known environments.
In simple words with the help of this technology, you will be able to navigate and locate things inside your house, office, hotel, buildings etc. User will have rich experience of real life things in their portable electronic devices. Sittings in your room , you can have the touch of things around you without going actually to that place.
